The Mucky Duck
The Duck this year was more windy than mucky as a strong wind hampered runners for a lot of the course on an otherwise fine day. Combined with some fairly unrelenting hills, it made for a tough eight and a half mile run.
Well done to all those who took part, including Debbie and Simon Rycroft (left).
Follow this link for some great pics thanks to David Gowans from East Hull Harriers.

Blackpool Marathon

In the words of Pock Runner, Mike Pullon, the weather was perfect for the Blackpool Marathon - not too warm and no rain or wind. The crowds were supportive and there were plenty of drinks stations and people handing out jelly babies. The course was flat and was made up of two laps with a couple of rises including one right at the end. The official results are not out yet but it looks like Richard Ginn ran it in 2.58.12', Gary Tebbutt in 3.22.46 and Mike in a PB time of 3.27.02. Follow this link for a few pics from the day.
